Anna Travels is currently seeking a skilled and responsible School Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

1. Safe Transportation: Safely operate and navigate school buses or mini buses, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the secure transportation of students or groups.
2. Passenger Safety: Responsible for the well-being of passengers during transit, including assisting with boarding and disembarking, ensuring seatbelt use, and maintaining order and discipline.
3. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working condition. Report any mechanical issues promptly.
4. Route Planning: Familiarize yourself with assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Communicate any deviations or delays to the transportation coordinator.
5. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with school staff, parents, and transportation coordinators. Address inquiries and concerns professionally.
6. Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following established protocols and ensuring the safety of passengers.
7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts. Complete required paperwork promptly and accurately.

Requirements:

1. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
2. Clean driving record.
3. Previous experience as a school bus driver or in a similar role is preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
5. Physical ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and assist passengers with special needs.
